Wonderful Britain

Reports state that approx 27% of the population do some kind of regular voluntary work, that must mean at least one person you know! Just think for a moment, of all the services provided by volunteers, that you take for granted. What kind of a mess would the country be in, if all those people resigned tomorrow?

My Niece has today taken part in the Bath Half Marathon. This is her first attempt at any serious running event and; not only did she finish the race, she did so in the fantastic time of approx 2hrs 15mins, whilst raising over £400 for Kidney Research, a camapaign close to her heart, as her Mother has acute renal failure. Well done to her, a great example to all the young people out there
