Wonderful Britain

On my recent trawl around the charity shops for book stock, I came across "The Book Of The Goons". A book of correspondence between Spike Milligan, Peter Sellers and Harry Secombe, which also included a selection of reproduced GOON SHOW scripts. As a child at the time, the one thought that sticks in my mind about The Goons, is "The Ying Tang Song".

That set me to thinking of my early childhood, when we didn't have T.V and we used to listen to the radio a lot, and some of the other comedy shows that used to make me laugh .....
